MIB Activity - Photography

What?
After an excellent discussion on DSLR photography and Indians, we feel it is only right to organise a photography session with all our readers. This is not a coaching session on how to take photographs but more like a get-together and networking session, while sharing some tips on photography.
When?
Saturday, 18 Oct 2008
(0900 - 1700 hours)
Where?
Batu Caves, Selangor
Who?
The session will be lead by Rames and all MIBs are welcome to join. One need not have a DSLR to join, a compact camera will do.

Actually I quoted Rames there.
Having said that, religion/spirituality/culture can also be a blog genre just like photography.

well vin3s you got it wrong.. batu caves is a place full or arts and colours (Of coz it’s divine place for indians but lets see it in a photographer’s view). It is a good spot to snap fantastic pictures. Especially the pigeons. It’s really a good spot. Nevermind, next time can snap pictures in Mosque and Church aswell. As long your appreciate arts.

since I too dont own a camera (not counting my 3.2MP phone camera), I think I’d join with Rujj and be a model.
Whoever gets the best shot of me (and Rujj) gets a free lunch at Sri Paandi’….

Rames is an excellent photographer, always read his blog. Hope this will be the start of a new era. Photography is such a cool hobby, or passion.
But remember, 10 ppl snapping the same scene…lol will always bore you. So try angles, and ideas and compositions and yes…models.
Mahen and his shades. Who wanna dress up as kaaval thurai athigari? thats a classic photo of him

Guys, dont think too much. We’re just taking photos there, so dont worry. We’re not forcing everyone to pray etc. lol. Let’s put religion, culture etc aside and enjoy taking photos there hehe. Can’t wait!!
