There will be a new album coming soon by PsychoMantra titled Oru Kirukkanin Kaviyam and I dont know what it translates to in english. Psychomantra born in KL currently based in Singapore, just completed recording. The album supposed to be Christmas release but however due to some circumstances it was delayed. But its worth the wait since its local productions. If we can wait for more than a year for Sivaji, why cant we do the same thing for our homeboys :) Athe!

Anyway please dont download the song or buy pirated CD’s, they went through alot of difficulties to release an album so please take that into count and buy original. Here are some details on the album:

Yantra The Movie - Extended review

Written by rujjcoomarh on January 3, 2008 – 3:19 pm

Have you watched Yantra, the movie? Made in Malaysia. It’s a locally produced tamil movie by K.Annan, the director who did Ops Koosa Dappa 1 & 2 and few other TV programs. Watched it days back and my rating for the movie… 2 star of 5.The story starts in a remote village, two streak of lights hit the village about 100 years ago and it is believed that these two lights carries a very special power in the form of a yantrastones one with a yantra-chakram and snake. Whoever owns this yantra will obtain very special power and able to get anything in this world. (or sumtin like that)

Then there is this couples, Murugesu who is physically disabled and his wife Nandhini who is blind and their daughter Amini. Adding to the cast will be the temple chief, Mayilsamy and Sethu as villagers cum comedian and other extras. Well I personally feel that the screenplay of the movie was weak. Their core subject of this movie is the Yantra and its powers but then in the whole movie they only touch the yantra part about 20% and the rest is about the daily lifes of those villagers focussed on Murugesu and Nandhini. We will talk about the castings later…

Yantra — first local Tamil film to have 3D animation

Written by Jay Yajiv on January 3, 2008 – 10:41 am

The new movie from director K. Annan is Yantra, an action-adventure flick that is set to raise the profile of local Indian films. The talent featured in "Yantra" did a great job in the telling of the story and they looked quite comfortable in front of the camera. A mention must be given to the make up department for making the characters visually believable.

Some of the scenes really showcased the maturity of the talents and this is apparent by the way S. Haridhass and M. Jasmin complemented each other on screen."Yantra" was promoted as the first Malaysian film with 3D animation and although it was a bold move, it is good to know that Malaysian film-making is slowly taking steps in order to give film enthusiasts an extra value for their money.
